A wise man would move the Volvo before taking it apart, so of course I decided to disassemble it while street-parked since it’s going to be another week before I can replace the Jan ‘09 battery . Disconnected enough of the hoses to get at the valve cover gasket only to run out of time (had to meet up with a friend). Glad my neighbors aren’t the NIMBY-type...

Kinja'd!!!

The neighborhood cat decided to inspect the engine himself despite his recent eye injury , jumping onto the radiator support and planting himself there.

I also won half of a new rear cloth seat cover . I’ve never seen the upper-part of the wagon’s rear bench for sale   so I figured I would buy this piece and just buy the other parts off the more common sedan.
